WELCOME TO BAY APPAREL
Based in Grange over Sands, Bay Apparel was born out of our love of The Bay where we have lived since the summer of 2015.
​
We have created a brand of practical and stylish clothing and accessories for local people to celebrate the area and keepsakes for visitors, designing an emblem that is distinctive and unique to the bay - the Oyster Catcher.
​
We have since created our Cartmel and Lakes Collections as tributes to places that are close to our heart.
THE OYSTER CATCHER
You may have spotted or heard these common waders, they can be very noisy with their loud ‘peep-ing’ call on The Bay.
Morecambe Bay is home to the largest concentration of oystercatchers in the UK -
which is why we thought they were the perfect emblem for our brand.
ENVIRONMENT
All of our products are embroidered/printed in the UK and our printed designs are created using water-based inks. Our eco-friendly packaging is 100% recyclable and carbon neutral, made from 95% renewable resources, produced using ethanol from sugar cane.
